Shreveport, Louisiana – Scattered thunderstorms will bring a soggy Wednesday to the I-20 corridor, with rain chances climbing to 60% across southern Arkansas, northern Louisiana, and eastern Texas.

According to the National Weather Service in Shreveport, the highest rainfall probabilities will stretch along and south of I-20, especially around Natchitoches, Ruston, Monroe, and Center, TX. Rain chances in these areas range from 55% to 60% through late afternoon, while spots like Texarkana and El Dorado hold closer to a 30–50% chance.

Daytime highs will hover in the low 90s under mostly cloudy skies—typical for early July in the Four State Region. Cities such as Shreveport, Longview, and Tyler will see temps between 91° and 94°, keeping the heat index elevated despite cloud cover.

Drivers are urged to use caution during downpours, especially on portions of I-20 and US-59 where visibility may drop quickly. Keep devices charged and avoid flooded roads.

This pattern of scattered storms is expected to persist through midweek, with further updates likely if any system strengthens or stalls.
