LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A damp start to Saturday is expected across central Arkansas as lingering showers and isolated thunderstorms move through before noon. Roads around Little Rock and Pulaski County may remain slick through the late morning, but drier conditions will quickly take hold.

According to the National Weather Service in North Little Rock, scattered showers are likely until around midday, followed by gradual clearing. Highs will reach the mid-70s today with breezy northeast winds.

By Sunday, central Arkansas turns sunny and warmer, with highs climbing into the low 80s. That dry pattern continues into early next week, with Monday and Tuesday both bringing clear skies and highs in the mid-80s. Winds will stay light, and humidity levels will remain moderate, making for comfortable late-summer conditions.

Travelers and outdoor planners should be cautious of wet roads early Saturday but can expect ideal weather for the remainder of the holiday weekend. No additional watches or warnings are in effect, though updates will follow if new storm chances develop midweek.
