Little Rock, AR – Arkansas residents can expect a mix of pleasant and hot temperatures in the coming days. Overnight lows will be comfortable, falling into the mid-60s to lower 70s. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Little Rock reports that hot conditions are set to persist on Thursday, particularly in western and southwestern regions, with high temperatures ranging from the upper 80s to lower 90s.

According to the NWS, Thursday will see temperatures reaching highs of 92°F in Little Rock and similar high temperatures across the state, including 97°F in Fort Smith and 90°F in Jonesboro. Despite the heat, slightly cooler air will prevail over eastern and northeastern Arkansas.

Looking ahead, Friday’s temperatures are expected to hover around 90°F, with a slight cooling trend beginning over the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will see highs in the mid-80s, providing some relief. The forecast predicts 84°F on Saturday and 82°F on Sunday, with lows in the mid-60s each night.

Early next week, temperatures will remain mild, with Monday’s high at 88°F. However, by Tuesday, the heat is expected to return, with highs reaching 94°F. This pattern suggests a brief respite from the heat before it ramps up again.
