Arkansas Weather Alert: Dense Fog This Morning, Thunderstorms Expected Wednesday

Little Rock, AR – Drivers in Arkansas should remain cautious this morning as dense fog blankets much of the region, reducing visibility to a quarter-mile or less. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9 a.m., increasing the risk of hazardous travel conditions.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Little Rock, fog will begin lifting by mid-morning, but the next concern arrives Wednesday, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 a.m. Expect patchy fog early in the day before gradual clearing and a high near 72°F.

Wednesday:Morning thunderstorms possible, then partly sunny, high 72°F. Winds becoming light and variable.

Thursday:Mostly sunny, high 79°F, with a 30% chance of morning showers. South winds up to 15 mph.

Friday:Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers, high 61°F.

Saturday:Partly cloudy, high near 66°F.

Sunday:Sunny and warmer, high 70°F.
