Little Rock, AR – Dense fog is creating hazardous travel conditions across central Arkansas early Wednesday, with visibility dropping to a quarter-mile or less. The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory until 10 a.m., warning drivers to reduce speed and use low-beam headlights.

According to the National Weather Service in Little Rock, widespread fog is expected to lift by mid-morning as a warm front moves through the region. However, rain chances will increase later Wednesday, with a 40% chance of precipitation in the afternoon. Temperatures will rise to the mid-60s, followed by mostly cloudy conditions overnight and a low near 59°F.

Extended Forecast:

Thursday:A 40% chance of rain early, patchy fog in the morning, then partly sunny with a high of 75°F.

Friday:Cloudy with a slight chance of showers, high near 57°F.

Saturday:Warmer conditions, partly sunny with a high near 80°F, and a 30% chance of showers.

Drivers should remain cautious during the morning commute. Stay updated on changing conditions and allow extra travel time.
