Little Rock, AR – A refreshing change is on the way for Arkansas this week as fall-like temperatures move in Wednesday. According to the National Weather Service in Little Rock, morning lows will dip into the upper 50s to mid-60s across much of the state, while afternoon highs are expected to remain below 80 degrees statewide.

The forecast shows cities such as Fayetteville, Harrison, and Mountain View starting the day near the mid-50s to upper-50s, while Little Rock, Searcy, and Fort Smith begin in the mid-60s. By the afternoon, highs will hover between 75 and 79 degrees, marking one of the mildest statewide days in several weeks.

Meteorologists say the comfortable pattern comes as a cooler and drier airmass settles across the region, bringing lower humidity and clearer skies. The shift will make for ideal conditions for outdoor activities and could signal a gradual trend toward more consistent fall weather.

No severe weather is expected, and winds should remain light through Wednesday. Forecasters advise residents to enjoy the cooler stretch before warmer air potentially returns later in the week.
