A Heat Advisory remains in effect until 8 p.m. Thursday, and similar dangerous conditions are expected to return Friday afternoon. Sunday pushes back into scorching territory, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 97°F. While overnight temps will hover in the high 70s, expect little relief from the heat.
