According to the National Weather Service, Little Rock will see sunny skies and temperatures near 76°F on Wednesday. Winds will remain calm, making for ideal outdoor conditions. Thursday brings even warmer temperatures, topping out near 79°F, but gusts could reach 15 mph by afternoon.
Starting Friday, the pattern shifts. Showers and possible thunderstorms could develop after 1 p.m., with a 30% chance of rain in the afternoon increasing to 50% overnight. Overnight lows will stay mild around 62°F, but travelers and commuters along I-30 should be alert for slick roads and reduced visibility.
Saturday continues the wet trend, with more showers and isolated thunderstorms expected. Sunday shows a 40% chance of storms before clearing begins into Monday. Highs will reach the low 80s over the weekend before cooling slightly to near 70°F on Monday.
