Little Rock, AR – Warm spring temperatures will persist across central Arkansas this week, but rain and thunderstorms are expected by Wednesday night. Residents near Levy and along I-40 should prepare for scattered showers and a potential thunderstorm midweek.

According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday and Wednesday will bring sunny skies with highs near 77°F. Winds from the southwest will reach up to 20 mph. However, by Wednesday night, an 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms moves in, with lows dropping to 56°F.

Thursday morning may see lingering rain, but skies will clear by the afternoon, allowing temperatures to reach 77°F. Winds will shift southward, keeping conditions mild.

Friday brings another round of unsettled weather, with a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. and highs climbing to 80°F. Breezy conditions could bring gusts up to 35 mph.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday will be partly sunny with a high near 72°F. By Sunday, temperatures remain warm, peaking at 75°F under clear skies.
