According to the National Weather Service, rain chances rise to 30 percent by late Tuesday night, but the most active weather period arrives Wednesday afternoon. Thunderstorms could intensify Wednesday night, with an 80 percent chance of heavy rain across Pulaski County, including Little Rock, Levy, and North Little Rock. Gusty winds up to 20 mph are also expected, especially during late commutes.
