Prairie County, AR – Arkansas State Police (ASP) are searching for two suspects who fled on foot after a high-speed pursuit ended along Interstate 40 near Hazen on Wednesday morning.

According to ASP, the chase began around 8:45 a.m. when troopers attempted a traffic stop on a black Hyundai Palisade for a traffic violation. The driver accelerated to nearly 100 mph, making dangerous lane changes before pulling off near Hazen.

The driver, identified as Brevin Tre Harvey, 24, of Saltillo, Mississippi, and a passenger, Marice Quencha Sykes, 30, of Tupelo, Mississippi, allegedly ran from the scene into nearby woods and remain at large. Another passenger, Kyle Anthony Easley, 33, of Shannon, Mississippi, was arrested and booked into the Prairie County Detention Center.

During a search of the vehicle, troopers recovered a discarded handgun and 58 pounds of illegal marijuana. Authorities said multiple law enforcement agencies are assisting in the ongoing search for the two fugitives.
