Tulsa, OK – Residents across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas can expect an unseasonably warm and dry stretch of weather this week, according to the National Weather Service in Tulsa.

Highs will climb into the mid- to upper 80s through Friday, with Tulsa forecast to reach 89 degrees by Thursday and Friday. Fayetteville and Fort Smith will also see highs in the low to mid-80s during the same period. Overnight lows will generally stay mild, holding near 60 to 65 degrees across the region.

According to the National Weather Service, the extended quiet conditions are being driven by a warm and stable air mass, keeping skies mostly clear through the workweek. This will allow for above-average daytime temperatures, with dry weather dominating until the weekend.

By Saturday and Sunday, forecasters note a slight shift as shower and storm chances return for parts of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Probabilities remain low, with rain chances topping out near 15 percent in some communities, including Bartlesville and Eureka Springs.

The agency also cautioned that patchy fog may develop in the early mornings, particularly in valleys and low-lying areas. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time for commutes where visibility is reduced.

For now, residents can plan for warm afternoons, cooler mornings, and mostly dry skies until late in the weekend.
