LITTLE ROCK, AR – A frost advisory has been issued for much of northern and northeastern Arkansas as temperatures are expected to dip into the low to mid-30s overnight. The advisory is in effect from 2 AM until 9 AM Tuesday morning, with the coldest temperatures impacting areas including Fayetteville, Harrison, Mountain View, and Jonesboro.
According to the National Weather Service, unprotected plants could be damaged by the freezing temperatures. Residents are advised to take precautions, such as covering sensitive plants or bringing them indoors, to avoid potential harm.
The areas under the advisory are expected to experience a drop in temperatures, with some locations reaching lows around 32°F. This marks a shift in conditions from warmer spring temperatures, and those with outdoor plants should take extra care to protect them during these cooler nights.
