Caddo Valley, AR – Arkansas State Police said four Texas men are facing multiple felony charges following their alleged involvement in a pharmacy burglary in Maryland Heights, Missouri, that led to the seizure of more than 26,000 stolen pills valued between $750,000 and $1 million.
According to Arkansas State Police, the break-in occurred on July 31 at about 1:15 a.m., when two suspects were caught on surveillance video breaking a rear window to gain entry into the pharmacy. Investigators said the suspects spent more than two hours inside, allegedly breaching a secure storage cage and filling large trash bags with prescription pill bottles.
A Be On the Lookout (BOLO) alert was issued after a Toyota RAV4 linked to the burglary was seen leaving the scene. Authorities later spotted the RAV4 traveling alongside a Nissan Rogue on Interstate 30 near Caddo Valley. Troopers stopped both vehicles at the Pilot Travel Center, where four suspects were taken into custody.
A search of one vehicle revealed two large trash bags containing pill bottles filled with more than 6,000 Hydrocodone pills, approximately 1,500 Morphine pills, and over 6,700 Oxycodone pills, along with other prescription narcotics.
The suspects were identified as Erik Dewayne Lyons Jr., 21; Johnathan Dewayne Fore, 29; Anthony Ray Venwright Jr., 32; all from Houston, Texas; and Bartley Omar White Jr., 21, from Humble, Texas. Each has been charged with eight felony counts of trafficking a controlled substance and is being held at the Clark County Detention Center.
Investigators say the case remains active and additional charges from Missouri authorities are possible.
