Phoenix, AZ – Temperatures in Phoenix remain well above normal this weekend, but relief is expected as a cooling trend begins Sunday. Highs near 75 degrees Saturday and Sunday will drop to the upper 60s by Tuesday, offering a more seasonal feel.
According to the National Weather Service, sunny skies dominate through the weekend, with calm winds and dry conditions persisting. Low temperatures will fall into the upper 40s tonight, dropping further to the low 40s by Tuesday night. Commuters using State Route 51 or Interstate 10 can expect excellent driving conditions, with no precipitation forecast.
Daytime highs are expected to reach 73 degrees Monday, falling to 69 degrees Tuesday. Nights will remain crisp, with low temperatures as cold as 41 degrees Tuesday night. Dry air and clear skies will continue, providing excellent stargazing opportunities.
Looking ahead, cooler temperatures early next week will bring a welcome change for outdoor activities, but residents are reminded to dress warmly during early morning and evening hours. Those with outdoor plants sensitive to cold may need to prepare for chilly nights starting Monday.
