According to the National Weather Service in Tucson, high pressure will build through Thursday, pushing daytime highs to 87°F, then 91°F by Friday. Temperatures will remain in the upper 80s and low 90s through the weekend, with sunny skies dominating each day. Wind gusts may reach 13 mph Thursday afternoon before calming after sunset.
Drivers along I-10, especially between Tucson and Marana, should prepare for heat-related vehicle stress. If traveling midday Thursday or Friday, check coolant levels and carry extra water. UV levels will be high—use sunscreen and limit direct exposure from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Thursday night will stay clear with a low around 56°F. Friday night brings similar conditions, bottoming out near 58°F. The dry spell continues with no rain chances through early next week.
