Flagstaff, AZ – Rain and high-elevation snow showers are expected to linger through Sunday before clearer, milder weather returns to northern Arizona early in the week.

According to the National Weather Service in Flagstaff, light precipitation will continue through 11 p.m. MST, with most areas receiving between 0.1 and 0.2 inches of rain or melted snow. Snowfall will mainly occur above 8,000 feet, including areas near Flagstaff, the White Mountains, and parts of the Grand Canyon’s higher terrain.

No significant travel impacts are anticipated, though mountain travelers may encounter slick spots or brief visibility reductions this evening.

A much drier and sunnier pattern is expected beginning Monday, with daytime highs gradually rising into the upper 50s and 60s by midweek. Thanksgiving Day looks mostly sunny across the region with seasonably mild temperatures.
