Phoenix, AZ – Arizona will see more rain and high-elevation snow through Wednesday as a low-pressure system moves across the Southwest.

According to the National Weather Service in Phoenix, the system will bring scattered showers and snow above 4,000 feet. Accumulations will remain light, but some areas could see a few inches of snowfall.

The heaviest precipitation is expected Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. Forecasters say showers will develop east of Phoenix by Wednesday afternoon. Rain chances remain highest in Gila County and surrounding areas.

Impacts may include wet roads, localized flooding, small hail, and isolated lightning. Drivers should use caution, especially in high-elevation areas where snow may accumulate.

Temperatures will stay cool, with highs in the 50s and 60s across the lower elevations. Snow levels will remain above 4,000 feet, affecting areas like Flagstaff and the Mogollon Rim.

Meteorologists urge residents to stay updated on changing conditions. More rain is possible later in the week.
