Motorists are urged to slow down and check road conditions before traveling.
According to the National Weather Service in Flagstaff, the chance for snow continues overnight into Thursday morning with additional flurries possible into Thursday night. Thunder is also possible Wednesday night, with lows falling into the low 20s. Drivers should anticipate icy patches Thursday morning due to overnight cooling.
Highs on Thursday will hover around 38°F under partly sunny skies. Winds remain brisk, with gusts topping 22 mph. By Friday, the storm begins to ease, though a 50% chance of snow remains early in the day. Skies will gradually clear with a high near 41°F.
