Phoenix, AZ – Drier conditions are expected this weekend across much of south-central Arizona, with potential for showers and storms in higher-terrain communities. The National Weather Service in Phoenix predicts that regional temperatures will drop slightly each day but remain above normal.
According to the US National Weather Service, El Centro will see high temperatures ranging from 109 to 112 degrees on Saturday and 106 to 109 degrees on Sunday, with no chance of rain. Yuma can expect similar conditions, with highs of 109 to 111 degrees on Saturday and 106 to 108 degrees on Sunday, and no rain in the forecast.
Phoenix will experience slightly cooler temperatures, with highs between 107 and 110 degrees on Saturday and 106 to 108 degrees on Sunday. There is a slight chance of rain, with a 10% chance on Saturday and 5% on Sunday. Globe, meanwhile, will be the coolest area, with highs of 96 to 98 degrees on Saturday and 94 to 98 degrees on Sunday. Globe has the highest chance of rain, with a 30% chance on Saturday and 20% on Sunday.
For the coming week, Phoenix is forecast to maintain high temperatures, with highs of 108 degrees today, 106 degrees on Sunday and Monday, and 107 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday. By Thursday, temperatures will slightly decrease to a high of 102 degrees.
