Flagstaff, AZ – A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Saturday across northwestern Arizona, with a heightened risk of flooding in areas such as Antelope Canyon, Grand Canyon, and Havasupai. The National Weather Service in Flagstaff advises residents and visitors to exercise caution in flood-prone areas, particularly slot canyons and low water crossings.

According to the National Weather Service, the flash flood risk will peak Saturday afternoon and evening, with scattered flash flooding possible throughout northern Arizona. Residents and visitors should avoid creeks, slot canyons, and low water crossings during this period. Floodwaters are dangerous and should never be entered, as the risk of flash flooding can develop rapidly.

Monday and Tuesday will bring sunshine, with highs reaching 84°F and 85°F, respectively. The rest of the week will feature mild temperatures, ranging from the mid-70s to low 80s, with a mix of sun and clouds.
