Scottsdale, AZ – A Learjet 35A crashed at Scottsdale Airport on Saturday, killing one person and injuring three others. The jet veered off the runway after its landing gear reportedly failed, colliding with a parked Gulfstream jet.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, two pilots and two passengers were aboard the Learjet. One person was trapped inside the wreckage before rescue crews extricated them.

Officials confirmed that Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil owns the Learjet, though he was not aboard. His representative issued a statement offering condolences and thanking first responders.

The National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation. Authorities have not released the identities of those involved. The Scottsdale Airport runway remained closed for hours after the crash.
