Arizona DPS Seeks Truck Driver After Fatal I-40 Crash Near Williams

Williams, AZ – The Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) is asking for the public’s help in locating a truck driver involved in a fatal three-vehicle crash that occurred on Thursday, October 23, 2025, along Interstate 40 near Williams.

According to AZDPS, the collision happened at approximately 7:53 p.m. near milepost 161 and involved a van and two commercial tractor-trailers. One of the truck drivers reportedly left the scene before law enforcement arrived and has not been identified.

Authorities described the vehicle as a black commercial truck tractor pulling a white van trailer with visible damage to the rear passenger side. Investigators released images of the truck in hopes the public may help identify it.
