Phoenix, AZ – A freeze warning remains in effect across the Phoenix area through 9 a.m. Tuesday as temperatures dip into the low 30s. Residents are urged to protect their families, pets, plants, and pipes from the freezing weather.

According to the National Weather Service, areas impacted include central Phoenix, Glendale, and Scottsdale, with lows around 35°F overnight and colder pockets possible. Frost conditions could damage vegetation and unprotected plumbing, especially in exposed areas. Those driving along I-10 and other major routes should watch for potential icy spots early Tuesday morning.

Daytime highs on Tuesday will reach 65°F under sunny skies, but another cold night is expected, with lows near 39°F. This pattern will continue into Wednesday, when temperatures will gradually warm to a high of 71°F.

The week ahead will see a steady increase in daytime temperatures, peaking at 72°F on Thursday. Nights, however, will remain cold, with lows dipping into the 40s. Residents are encouraged to use insulated coverings for outdoor pipes and bring sensitive plants indoors until the freeze warning lifts.
