Indianapolis, Ind. – The National Weather Service in Indianapolis says chilly to cold conditions will persist across central Indiana through midweek, with wind chills in the teens at night and 20s during the day.
An Arctic cold front arriving Wednesday night will bring gusty northwest winds and a sharp temperature drop, sending wind chills to near zero or single digits by Thursday night into early Friday.
Residents are urged to bundle up in multiple layers, take breaks from the cold, and ensure homes are properly winterized ahead of the upcoming coldest stretch of the season so far.
