Twin Cities, Minn. – The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities reports that frigid temperatures will dominate the week across Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Highs will only reach the teens and 20s, with overnight lows dipping near or below zero at times.
A few flurries are possible today over southeastern Minnesota into western Wisconsin, followed by scattered snow showers Tuesday night across the region.
The coldest air of the week is expected Wednesday night into Thursday morning, when temperatures could plunge well below zero. Residents are advised to bundle up, check on vulnerable individuals, and prepare for a stretch of bitter winter weather.
