Authorities say three males—two from New York and one from Livermore Falls—allegedly forced their way into the residence and physically assaulted an occupant with dangerous weapons. Livermore Falls Police requested assistance from the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office as the suspects attempted to flee. One suspect was detained at the scene, while two others initially escaped on foot.
Deputies later responded to a nearby residence connected to the suspects. During the investigation, law enforcement located an additional male from New York hiding inside the home. Police also deployed a drone, which successfully helped locate one fleeing suspect hiding in a wooded area nearby.
The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office arrested Daniel Gala, 25; Joshua Washington, 25; and KaShaun Santiago, 25, all of New York, on charges of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs (Class A). Livermore Falls Police additionally charged the same individuals with burglary (Class A), aggravated assault (Class B), and aggravated criminal mischief (Class C).
