Livermore Falls, ME – Police in Androscoggin County made multiple arrests Monday following a reported home invasion that investigators say led to the discovery of a large-scale drug trafficking operation.

According to the Androscoggin County Regional Communications Center, a 9-1-1 call was received Monday, December 15, reporting a home invasion in Livermore Falls. The call disconnected before details could be provided, prompting an immediate response from the Livermore Falls Police Department. Officers arrived and determined an active home invasion was allegedly taking place.

Authorities say three males—two from New York and one from Livermore Falls—allegedly forced their way into the residence and physically assaulted an occupant with dangerous weapons. Livermore Falls Police requested assistance from the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office as the suspects attempted to flee. One suspect was detained at the scene, while two others initially escaped on foot.

Deputies later responded to a nearby residence connected to the suspects. During the investigation, law enforcement located an additional male from New York hiding inside the home. Investigators also allegedly uncovered information indicating the group had been trafficking a large quantity of illicit drugs from the location.

A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of approximately 203.3 grams of illegal drugs, with an estimated street value of $30,000, along with roughly $8,000 in suspected drug trafficking proceeds, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Police also deployed a drone, which successfully helped locate one fleeing suspect hiding in a wooded area nearby.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office arrested Daniel Gala, 25; Joshua Washington, 25; and KaShaun Santiago, 25, all of New York, on charges of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs (Class A). Livermore Falls Police additionally charged the same individuals with burglary (Class A), aggravated assault (Class B), and aggravated criminal mischief (Class C).

Officials say the investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges are expected.
