Allegheny County, PA – A Turtle Creek man wanted on multiple warrants was taken into custody this week after detectives allegedly found him hiding inside a kitchen cabinet in East Pittsburgh, according to the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives said 24-year-old Cameron Salmon had been a fugitive since early August, when two bench warrants were issued for probation violations involving a firearms charge and a fleeing from police charge. Officials added that Salmon also had an active arrest warrant out of North Versailles for several alleged offenses, including a firearms violation, terroristic threats, and simple assault.

According to the sheriff’s office, detectives developed information this week that Salmon was staying in a home on Prospect Terrace in East Pittsburgh. Deputies arrived shortly before 10 a.m. and obtained permission from the lease holder to enter the residence. While searching the first floor, investigators allegedly discovered Salmon attempting to hide inside a kitchen pantry cabinet.

Authorities said he was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
