ALDI Recalls Casa Mamita Taquitos in New York, Ohio, North Carolina, and 28 Other States Over Metal Risk

Batavia, IL – ALDI has recalled Casa Mamita Chicken & Cheese Taquitos in 31 states, including New York, Ohio, and North Carolina. The recall stems from potential metal contamination in 20-ounce packages with “Best By” dates of July 3, 2025, and September 25, 2025.

According to ALDI, the product was made by Bestway Sandwiches Inc. Customers are urged to check for the UPC code 4061459337471 to identify impacted packages. The affected items were sold at ALDI stores in states such as Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and others.

ALDI is advising customers not to consume the taquitos. Instead, they should discard the product or return it to the store for a full refund. For questions or refund assistance, customers can contact Bestway Foods at (818) 361-1800 ext. 110.

The recall reflects ALDI’s dedication to consumer safety and the integrity of its products. ALDI issued an apology for any inconvenience and pledged continued vigilance in quality assurance.
