Albany, NY – The National Weather Service in Albany is forecasting a cool, dry, and breezy end to the work week, with below-normal temperatures and gusty winds continuing through Friday.

According to the NWS, daytime highs Thursday and Friday will remain in the low to mid-50s across much of eastern New York and western New England. Overnight lows are expected to dip into the upper 30s to low 40s. Northerly winds could gust between 20 and 30 mph at times, particularly across the Capital Region and the Hudson Valley.

The weather will stay dry through Friday, offering clear skies but brisk conditions for outdoor activities. Cooler-than-average air will linger before temperatures begin a slow rebound heading into the weekend.
