Albany, NY – The National Weather Service in Albany says much of eastern and upstate New York will see a stretch of dry, partly sunny weather through early next week, with cool mornings and mild afternoons typical of late October.

Forecasters report Saturday will bring partly sunny skies in the morning before clouds increase later in the day. Highs will reach the upper 40s to upper 50s, while nighttime lows dip into the upper 20s to upper 30s.

Sunday is expected to remain mostly dry, though a brief shower could develop in the Adirondacks. Elsewhere, skies will stay partly cloudy with highs between 53–55°F. Monday and Tuesday will continue dry and partly sunny with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s.

Forecasters caution that overnight lows will continue to fall near or below freezing in colder valleys, bringing potential frost across interior areas.

The NWS says the next chance of measurable rain likely won’t arrive until midweek, keeping conditions calm for outdoor plans.
