Huntsville, Alabama – North Alabama will bask in sunshine and highs in the mid-80s on Saturday, but a weak frontal system could bring isolated showers and a few rumbles of thunder by Sunday afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, Saturday’s highs will range from 80 to 84 degrees with clear skies and lows near 60 overnight. A 20–50% chance of rain develops Sunday, primarily between noon and sunset, with thunderstorms possible across Madison, Limestone, and Morgan counties.
Travel and outdoor plans on Sunday could face brief disruptions, particularly near I-65 and I-565 during peak storm hours. While severe weather is unlikely, lightning and brief downpours may occur. Officials recommend keeping devices charged and moving outdoor gatherings indoors if thunder is heard.
By Monday, the system clears out, leaving behind dry conditions and partly sunny skies. Highs will rebound to 82–86 degrees with another mild night in the low 60s — ideal for Memorial Day cleanup or late-spring gardening.
Storm chances remain low, but updates may follow if instability increases. Check back Sunday morning for the latest alerts or radar trends.
