Huntsville, AL – Warmer temperatures are set to bring a taste of spring to the Tennessee Valley this week, with highs reaching the mid-to-upper 70s by Friday.

According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, temperatures will gradually rise, peaking between 70°F and 78°F midweek. Tuesday and Wednesday will be sunny and mild, but showers and scattered thunderstorms are possible on Thursday, with a 40-60% chance of rain. Temperatures will dip slightly that day, ranging from 61°F to 68°F, before rebounding into the upper 70s by the weekend.

Residents should prepare for occasional rain and thunderstorms Thursday, but no severe weather is expected at this time. The warm spell continues an early spring trend across the region, making outdoor activities more favorable most days.
