Huntsville, AL – A soggy midweek pattern continues across northern Alabama today, but relief is on the way. According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, widespread rain is expected through Wednesday before skies begin to clear late tonight into Thursday.

Daytime highs will range from the lower 50s to mid-50s Wednesday, with overnight lows dipping into the 40s. By Thursday, rain chances drop significantly, and cooler, drier air will move into the region—bringing a crisp autumn feel through the weekend.

Forecasters expect sunshine to return Friday with highs climbing into the low 60s. The weekend outlook calls for mostly dry conditions, with Saturday and Sunday both topping out near 60–64 degrees and chilly mornings in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Residents are advised to dress warmly for evening activities and overnight hours, as temperatures will fall quickly after sunset.
