According to the NWS, the showers were detected around 5:50 a.m. and are expected to impact the Huntsville area throughout the morning. Temperatures will soar to a high of 94°F, making it crucial to stay hydrated and seek shade when outdoors. Despite the early morning storms, the day will generally remain mostly sunny.
Residents are advised to carry an umbrella and be cautious of sudden weather changes, especially if driving. The rest of the weekend will remain warm with temperatures in the low 90s and slight chances of isolated showers. Huntsville should also expect more stable weather by mid-next week, with temperatures dropping to the mid-80s.
