Huntsville, Alabama – Warm, dry air will dominate North Alabama through the weekend, with temperatures climbing into the mid-80s by Sunday afternoon and no rainfall expected to interrupt outdoor plans.
According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, highs will reach between 82 and 85 degrees Saturday, then climb to 83 to 86 degrees Sunday under mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows will remain mild, only dropping into the low to mid-50s Saturday night and rising into the upper 50s to low 60s by Sunday night.
Cities across the Tennessee Valley, including Huntsville, Decatur, and Florence, will see consistent sunshine and above-normal temperatures through Monday, with highs holding in the low 80s. The extended stretch of dry weather may begin to impact soil moisture and increase fire sensitivity in some areas.
Light winds and stable conditions will make for ideal outdoor weather, but residents should stay hydrated and use caution with any outdoor burning.
This quiet pattern is expected to continue into early next week, though changes could develop beyond Monday as the broader weather pattern becomes more active across the region.
