Birmingham, Alabama – Mild overnight conditions will give way to a warm and mostly dry Monday, with only a slight chance of a brief afternoon shower across central Alabama.

According to the National Weather Service in Birmingham, lows tonight will settle into the 50s under partly to mostly cloudy skies with light winds. By Monday afternoon, temperatures will climb into the upper 70s to lower 80s across much of the state, including Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, and Montgomery.

Rain chances remain limited, with only isolated showers possible during the afternoon hours. Most communities will stay dry, though a brief shower could develop and quickly move through without widespread impact.

Winds will remain light out of the south at 5 to 10 mph, helping to drive the warmer air into the region. Major routes including I-20/59 and I-65 are not expected to see significant weather-related disruptions.

Residents can expect a pleasant start to the week but should remain aware of a small window for brief showers Monday afternoon. Warmer-than-normal conditions are expected to continue into the early part of the week with additional updates possible if rain chances increase.
