Montgomery, AL – A single-vehicle crash early Monday has led to a significant traffic disruption on Interstate 65 in Autauga County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the incident occurred around 4:07 a.m. near the 185-mile marker. The left southbound lane remains closed and is expected to be shut down for an undetermined amount of time as troopers investigate.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are currently on scene evaluating the crash and working to determine the cause. No further details about the vehicle involved or potential injuries were released at the time of the alert.
Drivers traveling south on I-65 should expect delays and consider alternative routes if possible. ALEA officials said updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
