Montgomery, AL – Police are asking for the public’s help in locating an elderly Montgomery couple who have been reported missing since earlier this week.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Robert Tyes, 80, and Diana Tyes, 73, were last seen on Monday, September 30, 2025, around 9:00 a.m. in the area of Capstone Drive in Montgomery. Authorities say both individuals may have conditions that impair their judgment.
The couple is believed to be traveling in a black 2021 Chevrolet Malibu, though the license plate number is currently unknown.
Diana Tyes is described as 5’4” tall, weighing approximately 118 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Robert Tyes is 5’11” tall, weighs around 175 pounds, has brown eyes, and may be bald or balding.
The Montgomery Police Department is urging anyone who sees the Tyeses or their vehicle to immediately contact police at (334) 625-2651 or dial 911.
This is an active missing persons case, and officials are asking residents across Montgomery County and surrounding areas to stay alert for any sightings.
