Huntsville, AL – Sunday will bring sweltering heat to areas around I-565, with temperatures forecasted to climb to 89°F by the afternoon. Before the heat intensifies, areas of dense fog are expected early in the morning, potentially impacting visibility for drivers from dawn until 8 a.m.
The National Weather Service is urging residents to limit outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day and to ensure proper hydration. Fog will clear before noon, but the heat will remain through the afternoon, with light winds offering little relief.
As the new week starts, Monday will bring cooler temperatures, reaching a high of 79°F with clear skies. Monday night’s low will drop to 51°F, offering a much-needed cooldown for the area.
