Cleveland, Ohio – After a stormy start to July, Ohioans are enjoying a much-needed break as summer delivers a perfect day for outdoor plans and travel. Sunshine dominates the skies statewide, with comfortable highs in the upper 70s and low 80s and barely a hint of humidity.
According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, sunny and stable conditions will last through Monday night, with temperatures reaching 78°F in Cleveland, 81°F in Akron, 78°F in Toledo, and 81°F in Youngstown. Skies will remain clear for the afternoon and evening, and no storms or strong winds are expected.
Drivers on I-77 and I-80 should find easy commutes, while parks and lakes across the region are expected to be busy as residents make the most of mild, dry weather. The combination of warm sunshine and low humidity will keep air conditioners running less and make for an ideal evening to open windows or dine outside.
This stretch of calm summer weather is a welcome change from recent downpours and severe storms. Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated and use sun protection if spending extended time outdoors. With no rain in sight until midweek, tonight’s sunset will cap off a beautiful day across Northeast Ohio.
More sunshine is expected Tuesday, but stay tuned for midweek updates as humidity and rain chances may return by Wednesday.
