Adams County, WA – A 64-year-old Buckley man was arrested Tuesday morning following an alleged domestic assault at the WB Schrag rest area, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were dispatched around 7:15 a.m. on November 25 after receiving reports of a violent altercation between a husband and wife. The complainant told authorities her husband had allegedly struck her, causing a bloody nose, and attempted to stab her with a screwdriver. Deputies also reported that a grandchild at the scene was allegedly assaulted.

According to the sheriff’s office, Adams County deputies responded with assistance from Washington State Patrol troopers. The suspect, identified as Brian J. Martin, 64, of Buckley, was detained without incident following the investigation.
