Caribou, ME – A clear and cool night is expected across northern Maine tonight, with low temperatures dropping into the 20s in some areas. According to the National Weather Service in Caribou, the sky will remain mostly clear, with a waxing gibbous moon lighting up the night sky.

Temperatures will dip to 51°F in Chiefland and around 54°F in Crystal River, with the coolest readings in northern Maine, including the Moosehead Region and North Woods, where temperatures will fall into the teens. Winds will remain light, turning from west to southwest at 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow, residents can expect a continuation of dry weather with sunny skies, as temperatures rise to the low 40s in the north and mid-40s to low 50s in the southern regions. A slight breeze will accompany the sunshine, making for a pleasant, if chilly, spring day.

While the weather will stay dry for now, rain is expected by the weekend, with scattered showers likely on Saturday and Sunday.
