PEOTONE – Fifteen local agencies responded to a house fire on Route 45 tonight.
According to the Peotone Fire Protection District, it happened around 7:30pm when crews responded to the two-story home on the 29200 block of South Route 45.
No one was injured in the fire. Agencies responding included Manhattan, Beecher, Crete Township, Crete, Richton Park, Park Forest, Manteno, New Lenox, Frankfort, Monee, Bourbonnais, University Park, Mokena, and Matteson.
MABAS 19 is investigating the cause of the blaze.
