Midland County, MI – A 19-year-old man is facing multiple felony charges following an alleged armed robbery investigation that began earlier this week in Greendale Township, according to local authorities.

According to the Midland County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched Monday around 7:49 p.m. to the 5400 block of West Isabella Road in Greendale Township after reports of an armed robbery. Investigators say the suspects fled before law enforcement arrived, prompting an initial search of the area. A 23-year-old Mount Pleasant man was identified as the victim and was not injured during the incident.

Authorities said deputies gathered statements from the victim and a witness and collected evidence at the scene as part of the ongoing investigation.

On Tuesday at approximately 9:49 a.m., officials say a tip led law enforcement to an apartment in the City of Midland. Deputies made contact at the location, where one adult and one juvenile were taken into custody. The juvenile was later released to a parent.

By Thursday, the adult suspect—identified as 19-year-old Treshawn Ford—was arraigned in 75th District Court. According to police, Ford allegedly faces charges including armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, multiple felony firearm counts, carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent, felonious assault, and carrying a concealed weapon.

Officials confirmed Ford remains in custody at the Midland County Jail on a $1,000,000 cash/surety bond. The investigation involved assistance from the Midland Police Department and the BAYANET task force.

All charges are allegations, and the suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
