Rockville, IN – In a significant law enforcement operation early Saturday morning, the Parke County Sheriff’s Office successfully apprehended 19-year-old Jayden Smith, a suspect wanted for multiple violent offenses including burglary, armed robbery, and auto theft.
The arrest was the culmination of collaborative efforts involving multiple agencies, including the Montezuma Police Department, Indiana State Police, and the U.S. Marshals Task Force.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Smith was taken into custody by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office around 1:30 a.m. The Sheriff commended the dedication and tireless efforts of all involved, highlighting the relief his capture brings to the community.
