Indiana Man Dies in Fatal I-65 Motorcycle Crash After Being Ejected from Bike

Clark County, IN – A New Albany man was killed in a motorcycle crash on I-65 northbound near the Eastern Boulevard overpass Tuesday night.

Indiana State Police and emergency personnel responded to the scene around 11:00 p.m. They found the rider, 25-year-old Mason Tyler Brown, lying in the roadway after being ejected from his Kawasaki motorcycle. Brown was rushed to University Hospital in Louisville, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

According to the Indiana State Police, Brown was traveling at high speeds and had passed several vehicles before colliding with the rear of a 2016 Yukon SUV. The impact threw Brown from his motorcycle, which then struck a parked semi-trailer. The occupants of the Yukon were uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation.
