LAGRANGE, Ind. — A horrifying crash late Sunday night unfolded on the I-80/90 Toll Road in Lagrange County when a sedan, traveling reportedly at a slow pace, was rear-ended by a semi-tractor, sparking a fiery catastrophe.
The impact sent the Nissan ablaze across the median, making it impossible for responders to intervene. The driver was killed in the crash.
The semi-driver, identified by Indiana State Police as a Pennsylvania resident, was subjected to mandatory chemical tests. No charges have been announced in crash. The identity of the deceased remains undisclosed, pending family notification.
