Fort Wayne, IN – Allen County and its surrounding regions in Indiana have experienced significant rainfall in the past 24 hours. 

Locations across Fort Wayne measured rainfall ranging from 0.14 inches to more than 1 inch, as reported early this morning. The largest accumulation recorded was 1.06 inches in the northwest region of Fort Wayne. 

According to the National Weather Service Northern Indiana, the area should brace for more scattered showers and thunderstorms on Monday, with the possibility of lingering showers into the evening. However, brighter skies are expected to return on Tuesday with a forecast of sunny and mild weather. 

The recent heavy rains have affected various counties, with notable downpours in far NW Paulding County, OH into southwest Defiance County, OH. Residents are advised to stay updated on local weather alerts and road conditions.
