Mokena, IL – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New Police Department Facility Wednesday

Mokena, IL – The Mokena Village Board of Trustees and Village Staff invite the community to attend the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House for the new Mokena Police Department on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 10300 W. 191st Street.

According to village officials, remarks will be delivered by Mayor Frank A. Fleischer, Village Administrator John Tomasoski, and Chief of Police Brian Benton. The event will include a ribbon cutting, open house, and tours of the new facility.

Light refreshments and hotdogs from Joey’s Red Hots will be available for guests. To accommodate overflow parking, 104th Avenue will be closed at 1:00 p.m., and additional parking will be provided at Village Hall on Carpenter Street with shuttle service starting at 2:30 p.m.

The village looks forward to commemorating this significant milestone with the community.
